Through a little more than two weeks, UNMC employees had donated more than $113,000 during this year’s United Way campaign.
The employee donation goal for this year’s United Way campaign, which ends Friday, is $128,000. About 33 percent of UNMC’s employees have participated in the drive so far.
Based on how UNMC employees have responded so far, the goal is reachable, said Jill Carson, UNMC’s United Way campaign manager.
“We’re still doing really well, and I’m impressed with the overwhelming response we had to the campaign in the first week,” Carson said. “I hope we can keep that up in this last week of the campaign to reach our goal.”
