Million-step Monday — Pedometers down under

Michelle Parks of the College of Pharmacy Dean’s Office and her husband, Gary, with their pedometers at Point Nepean in Australia.

The couple vacationed in Australia in August to visit Gary’s family. Their trip included a visit to Sydney but the majority of their vacation was spent in the state of Victoria.

It was winter in Australia during their visit, which meant the evenings were chilly and the days were “beautiful,” Parks said.

“The weather was comparable to our spring or autumn,” she said. “Everything was green and flowers were blooming.”
