Caremark prescription drug iBenefit report

In October, Caremark, the university’s prescription drug administrator, will be mailing the first iBenefit Report to qualifying insureds enrolled in the university’s medical insurance plan.

The iBenefit report is an innovative, dynamic consumer report that generates a personalized summary of your family’s prescription history and associated recommendations for future purchases. It highlights the value of your prescription benefit; empowers you to make cost effective choices by showing a variety of options available to you; and provides positive reinforcement for making cost-effective healthcare choices.

The report will be distributed to the home address in individual personalized, confidential envelopes to employees, spouses, and dependent children age 19 and over who have a total prescription cost of $100 or more from September 2006 through August 2007.

For more information about Caremark, including automatic e-mail notification when a prescription refill is available, obtaining a formulary list, etc., go to WWW.UNMC.EDU/HR, access the UNMC Human Resources site and look at HR News.
