Just a reminder that those of you clamoring to win the coveted Gold Shoe should tally your October step totals and send them to today@unmc.edu by next Monday.
And if the Gold Shoe wasn’t enough, our good friend Dani Eveloff, recruitment coordinator and marketing specialist in the UNMC College of Nursing, has offered to paint one of her old running shoes silver so it can be presented to the second-place stepper each month.
The Silver Shoe winner will get a mention in the monthly Gold Shoe article.
So there you go, two spray-painted old running shoes to compete for. Let the games begin!
UNMC employees who recently have reached one of the 250,000 step milestones in the 1 Million Step Challenge can have their accomplishments listed in UNMC Today by sending an e-mail with their names, departments and milestones reached to today@unmc.edu by 5 p.m. Friday.
