The University Hospital Auxiliary Holiday Gift Boutique on Wednesday, Nov. 7 and Thursday, Nov. 8 is a great place to get an early start to your holiday shopping.
The boutique will feature handcrafted items and homemade baked goods as well as used books. There also will be a silent auction. The boutique will be held in the west atrium of the Durham Outpatient Center.
Coinciding with the boutique, the hospital’s CornerStone gift shop in University Tower will host an open house.
The University Hospital Auxiliary is again sponsoring the Tree of Lights program. With each $3 donation, people can sponsor a light on the hospital’s tree, which will be on display in The Healing Gardens through the holiday season. The light can be used to honor a family member, friend or co-worker, or remember a loved one who has died.
In addition, the auxiliary will send a card to each person or family to acknowledge the donation and the donor.
