Campus forums today and tomorrow

Campus forums for faculty and staff are scheduled for today and Wednesday.

Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D.; Rodney Markin, M.D., Ph.D., president and CEO of UNMC Physicians; Jo Watkins, HR benefits specialist; and Deb Thomas, assistant vice chancellor for business and finance, will be the presenters. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask questions during the forums.

Topics will include a preview of next year’s budget, updates on clinical facilities in the Omaha metro area, changes to employee benefits for 2008 and the e2Campus emergency notification system.

Today’s forum will begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Eppley Science Hall Amphitheater. On Wednesday, the forum will begin at noon and will originate from the Durham Research Center auditorium.

A sign language interpreter will be present at the Wednesday forum, and it will be broadcast to the following UNMC locations:

Lincoln, College of Dentistry, Dixon Lecture Hall;
Lincoln, College of Nursing, CCRT Room 307;
Kearney, Communications Center Room 241; and
Scottsbluff, Panhandle Station Room 203.
