Phil Smith, M.D., chief of the section of infectious diseases at UNMC and medical director for the Nebraska Biocontainment Unit, will present an avian flu forum today at noon in the Wittson Hall Amphitheater.
Dr. Smith’s presentation is titled “Infection Control during a Pandemic — at home, in the community and at work.”
The forum is for medical center students and employees.

Another forum will be held Friday, Nov. 16 at noon in the Wittson Hall Amphitheater when Sharon Medcalf of the Nebraska Center for Biopreparedness Education presents “During a Pandemic: Caring for the Ill at Home.”
