The forums focused on several issues of importance to UNMC employees including deadlines to register for and make changes to NUFlex benefits.
The deadline to make changes is Friday at 5 p.m. All changes must be either made online at the Employee Self Service Web site or on your completed NU Flex 2008 Change Form.
Send completed forms to zip 5470. If you are not making changes and you do not participate in the reimbursement accounts, you don’t need to return your change form.
If you participate in the health or dependent care reimbursement accounts, you must sign up each year.
All employees are required to redesignate their tobacco/nicotine use status for the life insurance coverage for 2008. If you do not change it online or turn in the completed Tobacco/Nicotine Designation Form, you will remain flagged as a tobacco/nicotine user. This designation must be made every two years.
