UNMC alums turn out for Husker hoops upset of Oregon

Several proud UNMC alumni and friends gathered for lunch at the Hilton Omaha and then walked next door to Qwest Center Omaha to cheer on the Nebraska mens basketball team during an overtime upset of the Oregon Ducks on Dec. 15.

The Ducks were the 16th ranked team in the country at the time of the game — which the Cornhuskers won 88-79 in front of 12,109 fans.
