A story by about UNMC Artist in Residence Mark Gilbert will air at the tail end of today’s 5:30 p.m. broadcast of the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.
The story, which was done by CBS news correspondent Steve Hartman, is part of CBS News’ Assignment America Series.
Hartman briefly sat down with UNMC Today to discuss his interest in the Gilbert story, journalism and how he became familiar with Omaha.
