There is still time to register for the fourth annual Walk and Roll for Disabilities this Sunday, Feb. 17, at the Westroads Mall in Omaha.
Proceeds from the event will go to support the Adult Recreation Therapy program at UNMC’s Munroe-Meyer Institute.
Sponsored by The C. Louis Meyer Foundation, No Frills Supermarkets, KGOR and Crouch Recreational Design, the event begins at noon on the second level of the mall next to Dick’s Sporting Goods.
Staff of MMI, program participants, parents and members of the general public are encouraged to collect pledges and participate. The registration fee is $15 per person and includes a T-shirt.
Staff attendants are not required to pay a registration fee, unless purchasing a T-shirt. Check-in, and day of registration, begins at 11 a.m.
