Retirement tea for Luann Andersen today

Luann Andersen

A retirement tea will be held for Luann Andersen, executive administrator to Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D., today at 2 p.m. in University Tower’s Private Dining Room C.

Dr. Maurer and Andersen will make remarks at 3:15 p.m.

Andersen — whose friendly face and voice have greeted those visiting and calling Dr. Maurer since 1999 — will leave the medical center this month and head to Houston to be near her two married children and two (soon to be three) grandchildren.

Andersen started her career at the medical center in 1976.

Come out and wish her good luck as she prepares to leave UNMC and head to the Lone Star State!
