Pediatric awards handed out

Sharon Stoolman, M.D., left, assistant professor of pediatrics, presents Cassandra Susman, M.D., house officer III in the department of pediatrics, with the 2008 House Officer Clerkship Teaching Award at the sixth annual Pediatric Research Forum.

The forum highlights research performed by faculty, residents and students from UNMC, Creighton University and Children’s Hospital. Annual teaching awards also are handed out during the forum.

Others who received awards this year were:

Julie Rothlisberger, M.D., adjunct associate professor of pediatrics, who received a Volunteer Faculty Clerkship Teaching Award;
Kathleen Farrell, M.D., adjunct associate professor of pediatrics, who also received a Volunteer Faculty Clerkship Teaching Award; and
Ann Anderson-Berry, M.D., assistant professor of pediatrics, who received 2008 Faculty Clerkship Teaching Award.
