A musical interlude

Howard Gendelman, M.D., chairman of the department of pharmacology and experimental neurosciences, and the University of Colorado’s Don Gilden, M.D., grab a little time in the Durham Outpatient Center West Atrium to prepare for a musical number the two would later perform at the annual Community Pride Event that Dr. Gendelman hosted Thursday night in Omaha.

Aside from showing off his violin skills, Dr. Gilden — the Louise Baum Professor and chairman of the department of neurology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver — also served as the dinner’s keynote speaker.
