An eight-page booklet highlighting UNMC’s 2008-2011 Strategic Plan is now available on the UNMC Intranet.
The booklet, which is being distributed to key audiences, includes a message from Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D., as well as articles on regenerative medicine and bioinformatics.
“The strategic planning booklet provides a visual map to show the direction UNMC is headed,” said John Adams, Ph.D., assistant vice chancellor for budget and strategic planning. “I would encourage all employees to read the plan so they can know where we are going and how they can help us get there.”
Dr. Adams also encouraged all faculty, staff and students to discuss ideas from the plan when they talk to colleagues and friends about UNMC.
Employees may view or download the booklet by visiting the 2008-2011 strategic plan on the “quick connects” section of the UNMC Intranet. There, employees also can see a more detailed plan with quarterly progress reports.
