The registration deadline is Sept. 11 to join the UNMC/The Nebraska Medical Center team for the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure.
The race will be held on Sunday, Oct. 5 and will take place rain or shine.
Here are the directions for registering online:
- Go to www.komennebraska.org.
- Click on “Race For The Cure” at the top of the page.
- Click on “Join a Team.”
- Find the team named “UNMC & The Nebraska Medical Center” on the drop down menu.
- Select the UNMC/TNMC team and complete your registration.
- Please list the department you work in in the “Team Memo” section.
The Race for The Cure benefits the Nebraska affiliate of Susan G. Komen Foundation.
The one-mile Fun Walk begins at 8 a.m. and the 5K Run/Walk begins at 8:30 a.m.
Team registration fees are $20 and team members get a Komen T-shirt and drawing backpack.
Kids 2 and under are free but must register. Kids 3 through 12 are $10 non-timed and $15 for a timed participant.
