Karin Trujillo, M.D.

Karin Trujillo, M.D., assistant professor in the section of cardiothoracic surgery, is among the many new faculty members at UNMC.

Medical degree: New York University School of Medicine, New York, 1999

Residency: General surgery, North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, N.Y.

Fellowship: NYU Cardiothoracic Surgery Fellowship, 2005-2007, and a dedicated thoracic oncology fellowship, 2007-2008, at NYU Medical Center, New York
