Open house for west Omaha cancer center Nov. 11

An artist’s rendering of the new cancer center being built in west Omaha by UNMC’s hospital partner, The Nebraska Medical Center, and UNMC Physicians. An open house for the new center will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11.

The UNMC community is invited to an open house on Tuesday, Nov. 11 at The Nebraska Medical Center Cancer Center near Village Pointe Shopping Center in west Omaha.

The open house will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. at the center, which is at 111 N. 175th St.

The special open house, which is for employees of UNMC, UNMC Physicians and The Nebraska Medical Center, will feature a social gathering and tours of the new facility.

The new center will offer cancer patients the greatest variety of outpatient treatment options and comprehensive cancer care services in one convenient location.
