As of Friday, UNMC employees had donated $139,890 during the 2008 United Way drive, which is 99 percent of the campus goal of $140,980.
Also, as of Friday, 34 percent of the campus had participated in this year’s drive.
Employees who still wish to donate can do so online.
The final United Way campaign drawing was held on Friday. The winners are:
- Two tickets to the Nov. 28 Nebraska-Colorado football game — John Kugler, pediatrics cardiology;
- Free one-month pass to the Center for Healthy Living — Linda Love, continuing education;
- $50 gift card to Target — Carla Gaul, internal medicine;
- $50 gift card to Village Pointe — Diane Bessette, psychiatry;
- $50 gift card to Borsheim’s — Victoria Whalen, internal medicine;
- $50 gift card to Target — Delores Valien, psychiatry;
- $50 gift card to Nebraska Furniture Mart — Yvette Holly, information technology services;
- $50 gift card to Fantasy’s Gas Stations — Martha Burns, security; and
- $25 gift card to Douglas Theater Company — Faye Park, Eppley Institute.
