Congratulations UNMC, you did it again.
As of Tuesday’s count, a total of $140,999 was raised during the 2008 United Way campaign, marking the second straight year the campus has surpassed its goal.
The goal for this year’s campaign was $140,980.
United Way campaign manager Jillian Carson said more donations are expected to trickle in this week meaning that total should be even higher when all is said and done.
“The bar was set high this year but our campus community was up to the task,” Carson said. “The generosity displayed by our employees, which will positively affect countless people, was inspiring.
“Thanks to all who participated this year and made the drive a success!”
