Gleb Haynatzki, Ph.D.

Gleb Haynatzki, Ph.D., associate professor in the department of biostatistics, is one of the many new faculty members at UNMC.

Name: Gleb Haynatzki, Ph.D.

Title: Associate professor and graduate program director in the department of biostatistics in the College of Public Health.

Research interests: Statistical models in survival analysis, cancer epidemiology, carcinogenesis, hereditary cancer, health disparities; quantitative modeling of bone biology and osteoporosis.

Education: Ph.D. in statistics and applied probability from the University of California in 1995; postdoctoral fellowship at McMaster University, Canada, from 1995 to 1997.

Previous positions: Tenured associate professor and lead biostatistician in the school of medicine at Creighton University from 1997 to 2008.
