Eric Pinkall and Christy Nielsen, physical therapists with Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital, will be in the Scheels running shoe department answering questions about running injuries, aggravating pains and finding the correct type of shoe for your workouts.

This is a free service offered by Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital and anyone is invited to stop by.

Christy Nielsen, also with NOH since 2004, is training for the Olympic Marathon Trials this year and provides great running, injury and training advice to runners of all levels.

Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital’s Physical and Occupational Therapy Department offers the Optimum Stride program — a running program designed specifically with the runner’s needs in mind.

Whether you have been running for years or just starting out, NOH offers a team of professionals that will provide expert assessment and treatment of your running-related concerns.

Physical therapists work in conjunction with physicians to evaluate any deficiencies or biomechanical issues that could decrease running efficiency or increase risk of injury.
