The campus community is invited to attend the first in a colloquia series on health care reform today from 5 to 6:30 p.m.
The series, sponsored by UNMC’s College of Public Health and The Center for Humanities, Ethics and Society, will be in the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education, Room 4053.
The reception runs from 5 to 5:30 p.m. with presentations at 5:30 p.m. Presenters are:
- UNMC’s John A Benson Jr., M.D., and Creighton University’s Richard O’Brien, M.D., on the NMA template for urgent health care reform.
- Keith Mueller, Ph.D., interim dean, College of Public Health, who will give an update on national initiatives in health care reform.
Attendees are encouraged to arrive prior to 6 p.m. as the Sorrell Center is locked promptly at 6 p.m.
