The fair allows students to learn about and investigate family medicine residency opportunities offered by medical centers around the region.

Ten residency programs from states such as Colorado, Iowa, Missouri, Wyoming, South Dakota and Nebraska posted displays during the fair on Monday in University Tower’s Private Dining Rooms.

The Family Medicine Interest Group — an organization run by UNMC students — aims to increase awareness and interest about family medicine careers.
