Research Notes – Dr. Thoreson’s work published in Nature Neuroscience

Wallace Thoreson, Ph.D.

Wallace Thoreson, Ph.D., professor in the departments of ophthalmology and visual sciences and pharmacology and experimental neuroscience, was a co-investigator on research findings that were published in the current issue of the scientific journal, Nature Neuroscience.

Dr. Thoreson’s research focuses on the operation of cone photoreceptors
that are responsible for daytime vision.

The research may help provide better understanding of other functions in the eye as well as the ear.
