UNMC/KETV NewsWatch 7 segments continue this weekend

Jeff Baldwin, Pharm.D., of the College of Pharmacy will be among the UNMC faculty members featured during the “Health Watch Asks, UNMC Answers” segments on KETV NewsWatch 7 this weekend.

“Health Watch Asks, UNMC Answers,” a partnership with KETV NewsWatch 7, features UNMC experts discussing a wide variety of health topics.

One of the goals of this partnership is to provide information to empower people to become advocates for their health and well-being. Here is this weekend’s schedule:

  • Friday, 6 p.m. — ” Is there a cancer gene?” with Ken Cowan, M.D., Ph.D., Eppley Cancer Institute Director;
  • Saturday First News (8 a.m.) — “Can I use medication after the expiration date?” with Jeff Baldwin, Pharm D., of the College of Pharmacy;
  • Sunday First News (8 a.m.) — “How important is good posture?” with Gib Willett, Ph.D., of the School of Allied Health Professionals;
  • Sunday 10 p.m. — “How much sleep do kids need?” with Brett Kuhn, Ph.D., of the Munore-Meyer Institute; and
  • Monday First News (6 a.m.) — “How long should I brush my teeth?” with Tim Durham, D.D.S., of the College of Dentistry.
