Pamela Jones, Ph.D., assistant professor in the department of community-based nursing in the College of Nursing and the department of health promotion, social and behavioral health in the College of Public Health, is among the many new faculty members at UNMC.

Title: Assistant professor in the department of community-based nursing in the College of Nursing and the department of health promotion, social and behavioral health in the College of Public Health.

Interests: Tobacco prevention, health disparities, social determinants of health and community-based participatory research.

Doctoral degree: Ph.D., University of California at San Francisco.

Memberships: American Public Health Association, Society for Nicotine and Tobacco, and Sigma Theta Tau International.
