UNO academic advisers coming to UNMC

(EDITOR’S NOTE: The following is a note from UNMC Employee Relations.)

On Monday, April 27 and Thursday, April 30, academic advisers from the University of Nebraska at Omaha will be outside the Nebraska Cafe from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The advisers will answer questions about enrolling at UNO and offer guidance on how medical center employees can work toward or complete college degrees.

The advisers also will discuss the UNO classes that will be offered here at UNMC and a representative will be on hand to answer questions about the employee scholarship program available to all full-time UNMC employees.

UNMC will pay for 15 credit hours a year to full-time employees to take classes at any University of Nebraska campus. These credits also can transfer to employee spouses or dependent children. Click here to learn more about the scholarship program.

If you have additional questions about the scholarship program, please contact Tony Huerta at 559-4391 or Jim Wiegel at 559-4216.
