Following consultation with Vice Chancellor for Research Tom Rosenquist, Ph.D., and Sponsored Programs Administration, the UNMC/UNO IACUC has determined that the Just in Time (JIT) review process will be adequate to meet review requirements for highly scored applications.
Any investigator who would like to have the IACUC pre-review their protocol in anticipation of a JIT request is encouraged to contact the IACUC Office to arrange for a pre-review consultation.
If a protocol involves categories D2 or E, investigators are strongly encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity for pre-review.
This pre-review will assist investigators to identify any issues that may impact timely approval and allow for correction prior to JIT submission and review of the protocol.
