The Campus Sustainability Committee would like to remind the UNMC community that Omaha Earth Day 2009 celebrations set for last weekend have been rescheduled for Saturday.
Activities for the whole family will take place at Elmwood Park at 808 S. 60th St. The event will include vendors, entertainment, information and presentations.
Bring your old electronic devices for recycling as GRX will be at Earth Day Omaha on Saturday from noon to 6 p.m. They will accept your cell phones, computers, DVD players, VCRs, stereo equipment, printers, fax machines and other electronic devices save for refrigerators and air conditioners. Recycling is free except an $8 charge for computer monitors and $15 for certain televisions. Call Ryan at 402-680-0090 for more information.
