Employee forums today and Thursday

UNMC’s budget, federal stimulus funding, a tobacco-free campus and the Thank ‘U’ program will be among the topics of the forums for employees and faculty today and Thursday.

Today’s forum starts 9:30 a.m. in Room 3001 of the Michael F. Sorrell Center for Health Science Education.

Speakers will include:

  • Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D.;
  • David Crouse, Ph.D., associate vice chancellor for Academic Affairs and executive associate dean for graduate studies;
  • Jayme Nekuda, Ph.D., director of the Employee Benefits and Work-Life Programs Division; and
  • John Russell, assistance vice chancellor for Human Resources.

Tomorrow’s begins at 3 p.m. in the Durham Research Center Auditorium and will be broadcast to:

  • College of Nursing – Lincoln, Room 307;
  • College of Dentistry – Lincoln, Room 52;
  • College of Nursing – Kearney, Room 148W;
  • College of Nursing – Scottsbluff, Room 204; and
  • Durham Research Center Auditorium.
