Amarnath Natarajan, Ph.D.

Amarnath Natarajan, Ph.D., associate professor in the Eppley Institute, is among the many new faculty members at UNMC.

Name: Amarnath (Amar) Natarajan, Ph.D.

Title: Associate professor in the Eppley Institute

Degree: Ph.D. in organic chemistry, University of Vermont

Research Interests: Dr. Natarajan’s laboratory aims to develop chemical probes for protein-protein interactions. The laboratory is currently focused on protein-protein interactions that involve two major proteins, BRCA1 and cbl.

Previous position: Assistant professor at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
