Uriel Sandovsky, M.D., assistant professor of medicine, is among the many new faculty members at UNMC.

Name: Uriel Sandkovsky, M.D.

Title: Assistant professor of medicine

Duties: Dr. Sandkovsky will see patients in the HIV Clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. In addition, he also will see general infectious diseases patients and immunocompromised (transplant) patients.

Specialty: Infectious diseases

Primary interest: HIV pathogenesis, antiretroviral resistance and opportunistic infections.

Other interests: Gram negative infections/antimicrobial resistance and infections in transplant patients.
