Old photo I.D. cards have expired

UNMC employees and students, as well as UMA employees, who have not obtained new photo identification cards are reminded to do so as soon as possible. UNMC began recarding the campus on June 24th, and the old photo I.D. cards are no longer a valid form of identification.

The expired I.D. cards can be recognized by the red stripe (on employee cards) or the dark blue stripe (on student cards) along the left edge of the card. The expired cards also display the old UNMC logo at the bottom of the card.

Employees and students must obtain new cards, which have a black stripe (on employee cards) or a yellow stripe (on student cards) along the left edge of the card. The new cards include the current UNMC logo at the bottom of the card.

I.D. cards may be obtained from the Photo I.D. office in the Student Life Center building from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information, contact the Photo I.D. office at 559-8414 or visit the Photo I.D. Intranet site at  https://info.unmc.edu/unecard.
