Lookin’ at U – Diane Ullrich

picture disc.Quick, think of five things others should know about you.

That’s the theme behind a series in UNMC Today called “Lookin’ at U.”

Each Thursday, we will randomly select a medical center employee or student to feature.

This week, we feature Diane Ullrich, an administrative associate in student services administration.

Here, in her own words, are five fun facts about Diane:

Diane Ullrich
  • I am the only daughter of five children. I have three older brothers and one who is younger.

  • Being a “military brat,” I have lived in seven states, Guam, and Germany by the time I was 25.

  • I love to play golf, watch Husker football, go to the College World Series, work at the Cox Classic and go camping with my family.

  • I have three children (ages 31, 28, and almost 18), four granddaughters (ages 5, 4, 4 – twins — and 2); and one grandson, age 9. They all live within fun-sitting distance!

  • My father had 21 extra years of life due to a heart transplant and I am now an active participant with the Nebraska Organ Donors and New Hearts Support Group to raise awareness of organ donation.

Read UNMC Today next Thursday to see who is featured in the next Lookin’ at U article. Who knows — it could be U.
