Jason MacTaggart, M.D.

Jason MacTaggart, M.D., assistant professor in the department of surgery, is among the many new faculty members at UNMC.

Name: Jason MacTaggart, M.D.

Title: Assistant professor of general surgery

Specialty: Minimally invasive treatment of arterial and venous diseases. Endovascular repair and pathophysiology of aortic aneurysm and dissection.

Medical degree: M.D. from University of Iowa College of Medicine, Iowa City, Iowa

Residency: General surgery internship/residency, UNMC, Omaha

Fellowship: Vascular surgery fellowship completed at University of California, San Francisco

Memberships: American College of Surgeons, Society for Vascular Surgery

Clinic hours: Surgery Clinic, Durham Outpatient Center, Level 5, Thursdays from 1 to 5 p.m. Appointments can be made by calling 559-7300.
