Meet public health dean at today’s open house

Ayman El-Mohandes, M.B.B.Ch., M.D., M.P.H.

The campus community is invited to meet UNMC’s new College of Public Health Dean, Ayman El-Mohandes, M.B.B.Ch., M.D., M.P.H., today during open house at the college’s new dean’s office suite in Wittson Hall.

The open house will be held from noon to 5 p.m. in Wittson Hall, Room 5025.

Dr. El-Mohandes came to the medical center from George Washington University, where he was chairman of the department of prevention and community health.

He also was jointly appointed in the department of pediatrics at GW’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences as an academic practicing pediatrician/neonatologist.
