Risto Rautiainen, Ph.D., associate professor in the College of Public Health Department of Environmental, Agricultural, and Occupational Health, is among the many new faculty members at UNMC.

Previous position: Assistant professor, University of Iowa, College of Public Health and deputy director of the Great Plains Center for Agricultural Health

  • Ph.D. (Occupational and environmental health), University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa, 2003; and
  • Master’s degree in agricultural engineering, University of Helsinki, 1986
