  • I’ve been married for 35 years to Ellen and have four children, two daughters-in-law, one grandson, two tonkinese cats (Kizzy and Kasper), three grand-dogs and two grand-cats.

  • I love classic cars from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. I’m currently working on a 5-year ongoing renovation project of a 1970 Cardinal Red 2-door hardtop (400ci V-8 with auto trans) Pontiac GTO I found in 2004 in Hutchinson, Kan.

  • I’ve recently completed several weeks of a 16-week “Biggest Loser” workout program and so far I’ve gained one pound.

  • This month, I will be inducted as president of the American Academy of Gold Foil Operators in Gainesville, Fla.

  • My wife Ellen and I love to go to the Farmer’s Market in Lincoln during the season on some Saturday mornings, have a “Moto Mocha” and “Kolache” at the Mill, talk about family and work, and watch people walk by.
