Tickets remain for the annual Night of a Thousand Stars event, which will be held Saturday from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Holland Performing Arts Center, 1200 Douglas St.
The theme for this year’s event is “Night of a Thousand Silver Stars: Nebraska AIDS Project – Honoring 25 years.”
The event annually raises thousands of dollars to support the Nebraska AIDS Project.
The UNMC pre-party reception with hors d’oeuvres will take place at Pauli’s Blueroom, 4016 Leavenworth St., from 7 to 9 p.m.
The pre-party will be hosted by:
- Susan Swindells, M.B.B.S.;
- Ziba Jalali, M.D.;
- Uriel Sandkovsky, M.D.;
- The UNMC HIV Team;
- Mike McGlade;
- Keith Swarts and Jayme Nekuda, Ph.D.; and
- Pauli’s Blue Room (brothers Chris and Paul) and Karen Griego.
The Stars gala will feature music by “Session 7.”
