Two days left for Health Risk Assessments, NUFlex reenrollment

Logging on

To log into the Health Risk Assessment, UNMC employees need to use a special variation of their UNMC personnel ID number as their username.

  • If your personnel ID number is five digits long, your username will be “UNMC000-” followed by your number (i.e. if your number was 12345, your login would be UNMC00012345).
  • If your personnel ID number is six digits long, your username will be “UNMC00-” followed by your number. (i.e. if your number was 123456, your login would be UNMC00123456).

Your temporary password is “wellness,” which you will need to change once you’ve logged in.

Those who have trouble logging in should call 559-4340.

Employees have two days left to reenroll for their NUFlex and/or to take the Health Risk Assessment (HRA).

This year, NUFlex enrollment is only offered online through the Firefly Employee Self Service. No paper enrollment forms will be accepted for reenrollment.

If no changes are made online by 5 p.m. on Friday, employees will:

  • Keep their current benefits;
  • Not be enrolled in the Reimbursement Accounts in 2010; and
  • Be designated as a tobacco/nicotine user for life insurance premiums.

There is no exception to this policy.

Those who take the HRA and have university health insurance will have access to enhanced wellness benefits, which include:

  • A $300 Wellness and Preventative Services benefit — a $50 increase over the standard benefit;
  • A $600 Well-Child Care Benefit — a $100 increase over the standard benefit;
  • A free colonoscopy through a Blue Cross Blue Shield preferred provider every 10 years once they reach the age of 50; and
  • No co-pay for generic drugs accessed through mail service.

The HRA is voluntary and will be taken at Wellstream Online or in Firefly (See log on instructions on the right). The assessment will take about 15 minutes and needs to be completed in one sitting.
