A reminder that the UNMC campus doesn’t close during extreme weather, however, non-essential personnel are urged to exercise good judgment on whether to report to work or leave early in such conditions.
Here are some points regarding UNMC’s work schedule policy and inclement weather:
- In times of severe weather, natural or other disasters, essential personnel may be required to remain on campus for extended periods of time;
- Employees must notify their supervisors as soon as possible if they are unable to report to work; and
- Employees who wish to leave work may take vacation time with supervisors’ approval.
