Lori Cooley first to find skate

A glitch with the skate click

When some clicked on the skate Friday, their computers opened Outlook Express pages rather than Lotus Notes. This is likely because Lotus Notes is not designated as their computer’s primary e-mail client. To make Lotus Notes your primary e-mail client:

  • Go to the “Start” menu and open “Control Panel”
  • Choose “Add or Remove Programs”
  • On the left hand side, choose “Set Program Access and Defaults”
  • Click “Custom”; when it opens up, go to “Choose a default e-mail program” and select “Lotus Notes”
  • Click “OK”

Lori Cooley, an office associate in the College of Nursing’s community-based health nursing department, was the first person to find the ice skate icon in Friday’s UNMC Today.

Keep an eye out for the skate as you read UNMC Today this week. If you find the skate, click on it and tell us you found it.

If you’re the first person to find it, you’ll receive two free, individual passes to the rink.

Readers can only win one time per skating season.

Also, remember that the rink will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday of this week.

Temperatures should be warmer this week, which should make it easier to get on the ice and take advantage of the lunchtime skating hours.

See updates about the rink on its Facebook and Twitter pages.
