UNMC collecting old eye glasses for Haiti

Some adults and children in Haiti are going without eye glasses. If you have prescription eye glasses you aren’t using, you can donate them.

The department of ophthalmology and visual sciences’ optical center is collecting old prescription eye glasses. If you would like to donate your glasses:

Drop off the glasses Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 3925 Dewey Ave.; or
Mail them to University Optical, Box 985540 Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, NE 68198-5540.
