Native American event planned for today

The campus is invited to share an appreciation of the richness of Native American culture today from noon to 2 p.m. in the Durham Outpatient Center West Atrium.

The event, sponsored by the NHS/UNMC Employee Diversity Network, will feature an art exhibit with 15 selections of Native American culture and a dance group. The free event is open to all UNMC and NHS staff, faculty and students.

Because of a personal matter, Les Kills Crows, beading instructor for the FS Indian Trading Post, will not be able to donate a beading class to the children patients of the NHS pediatrics ward, as had been planned.
