Title: Assistant professor in the department of pharmacy practice.

Interests: Dr. Oestreich’s lab is focused on studying the variability of platelet function and response to antiplatelet agents, particularly clopidogrel (Plavix) and other P2Y12 receptor antagonists. The goal of this research is to personalize patient therapy so that protection from adverse cardiovascular events is balanced with the lowest level of drug side effects, most notably bleeding.
