Dr. Klepser to present Thursday’s Lincoln Science Cafe

UNMC’s Donald Klepser, Ph.D., will be the featured speaker on Thursday during the Lincoln Science Cafe, which starts at 6:30 p.m. at the red9 at 9th and M streets.

Dr. Klepser’s talk, titled, “How much would you pay for a better future? The costs and benefits of scientific innovation,” will focus on the nature, challenges and rewards of scientific discovery.

Dr. Klepser is an assistant professor in the College of Pharmacy Department of Pharmacy Practice.

Dr. Klepser received his doctoral degree in pharmaceutical socioeconomics from the University of Iowa and his master’s degree in business administration from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.

Science Cafe is a free educational event sponsored by UNMC and other groups to increase the population’s science literacy. Hosted by UNMC, BioNebraska and the Nebraska Coalition for Lifesaving Cures, the Lincoln Science Cafe is held on one Thursday every other month.
