Cattlemen’s Ball golf tournament filling up fast

KEARNEY — Foursomes are filling up fast for the 2010 Cattlemen’s Ball golf tournament scheduled for Friday, June 4 at Kearney Country Club.

This year’s Cattlemen’s Ball is hosted by Norris and Lori Marshall at their acreage four miles southwest of Kearney.

More than half of the 36-team slots have been filled for the tournament, which will raise money for research at the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center and local health and wellness programs as part of the overall weekend’s Cattlemen’s Ball activities.

Golfers must pre-register to participate. The registration fee is $500 per team of four, or $125 per individual. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, range balls, cart, lunch and prizes.

Check-in is at 8:30 a.m. on June 4 with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
