UNMC LINK — a new group for dynamic and energetic medical center employees who want to link UNMC to the community — launches during a campus event on Thursday.
The kick-off event starts at noon in the Sorrell Center’s Linder Reading Room. Light refreshments will be provided.
UNMC LINK participants will have opportunities for networking, career development and involvement in engaging the greater Omaha community.
Different events will be held each month for UNMC LINK participants including social, networking, professional development and philanthropy events.
UNMC LINK also will partner with different career development groups from other companies such as Union Pacific, Mutual of Omaha and OPPD.
