Health care reform forum set for noon

Broadcast sites Today’s health care reform forum will be broadcast to: Omaha — The Nebraska Behavioral Health Education Center, Midtown Building, Room No. 457 Lincoln — College of Nursing, Room No. 307 Lincoln — College of Dentistry, Dixon Lecture Hall Kearney — College of Nursing, WCC Room No. 144 Scottsbluff — College of Nursing, Room No. 201.

Health care reform will be the focus of today’s forum for employees of UNMC, UNMC Physicians and The Nebraska Medical Center at noon in the Durham Research Center Auditorium.

During the forum — a group of medical center health care reform experts will be available to answer employee questions about the new law.

Employees are encouraged to submit their questions online. (Submit a question.)

The forum will be broadcast to UNMC’s campuses in Lincoln, Kearney and Scottsbluff.

Also, for those not able to attend the employee forum, there will be an online chat regarding health care reform on Friday from to noon to 1 p.m.

The chat — which can be accessed at https://infotest.unmc.edu/chat/ — also will feature medical center health care experts answering questions about health care reform.
